Flat-Rate PPC Local Online Advertising

PocketCents is LOCAL Online Advertising. This means that the major focus of our technology is GeoLocating users to show specific ads. GeoLocation is perfect for, small businesses, franchises, local promoters, event planners, local institutions, brick-and-mortar stores or anyone trying to target a local audience.

PocketCents is a Display Network. This means that ads are displayed along side content within web pages. PocketCents matches the industry category of the website to ads to ensure that only relevant ads are displayed. This is, for instance, so that when a user visits an automotive website, they don’t see ads for real estate.

PocketCents pay-per-click advertising.  Also called PPC, pay-per-click is an advertising model used on websites, where advertisers pay their host only when their ad is clicked.  These clicks send unique users to the desired landing pages of advertisers.

PocketCents pricing is flat-rate and will only cost 25 cents per click.

Technology: How does it work?

PocketCents has a large network of hundreds of publishers all over the world who host our AdBoard code within their pages.  This is primarily how PocketCents reaches its users.  The publisher enters the demographic information about their site when they create the AdBoard, so the AdBoard knows what types of ads to display.  When a user visits the page, the AdBoard grabs the GPS coordinates when displayed on mobile devices, or their IP address which is checked against a number of GeoLocation databases, to determine where that person is located.  The AdBoard then chooses only to display ads whose radius includes that user.  The advertisers, of course, select what radius they want to target before hand.
